DNA and RNA Sequencing Services for Environmental Soil Microbiome Research

Umeå University intends to procure DNA and RNA sequencing services for environmental soil microbiome research in organic forest soils. The procurement includes all activities necessary to generate and deliver high-quality sequencing datasets, including library preparation, sequencing, quality control, project management, reporting and data delivery. The services will support research involving metagenomics, metatranscriptomics, fungal community analyses, functional gene annotation and long-read reference dataset generation. The Buyer currently expects sample deliveries to start Q4 2026 and sequencing activities to take place during 2027. Final delivery of all contracted datasets is expected no later than June 30, 2027.
