Convection parts (boiler tubes) for Unit 1 in the Uppsala Waste incineration plant

LTE Investment for Unit 1 in the Waste incineration Plant AFA in Uppsala, Sweden. ​ The waste incineration plant in Uppsala consists of a total of three waste boilers, two of which are from the 80s and one that was commissioned in 2005. The waste incinerators are the base production units of district heating and steam in Uppsala. In the old waste boiler, Unit 1, it is time to replace pressure vessel parts (convection parts) in order to continue operations until 2040. Other parts (membrane walls in furnace and the so-called “lattice tubes” have previously been replaced and supplemented with overlay welding. The steam data is 15 bar(g) and 200°C for both boiler.
